You don't have to go through it alone.
There aren’t many people around you who understand the pain your separation or divorce has caused. To you. Your family. Your friends. That’s the reason for DivorceCare. DivorceCare is a special seminar and support group conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
The Fall session of DivorceCare starts September 13. DivorceCare meets weekly at Fair Haven Ministries on Mondays at 7:00pm in 400-mid (enter using Door O). You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare group at any time. Each session is "self-contained", so you do not have to attend in sequence. DivorceCare is part of Hope Harbor, which includes a meal from 5:30-6:30pm and worship from 6:30-7:00pm. Child Care is available for infants through 4 years of age.

DivorceCare is also available on Thursdays at Sandy Hill Elementary School, 1990 Baldwin, Jenison starting September 16. A meal will be provided from 5:45-6:30pm, DivorceCare will be meeting 6:30-8:30pm.

Helping Children Heal from the Hurt of Divorce.
DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a special group to help children heal from the hurt caused by the separation or divorce of their parents. DC4K is designed for kids ages 5-12. Kids are able to make friends with other kids who understand how they feel and the things they are going through because of the divorce of their parents. Best of all, children will learn how God’s love can strengthen them and help turn tears to hope and joy!
